Art Attack
An Art Residency encouraging local involvement, creativity and sense of communityFacilitator, Concept, FounderArtAttack was created as an Artist in residence festival. It aims to be a local movement, bringing together artists and the community of Neskaupstaður, in Austurland - East Iceland. Visiting creatives work with locals in building a vibrant community. The artists are sharing their skills and imagination by creating installations, events and happenings, and facilitating workshops during their stay in Neskaupstaður. ArtAttack supports artist led projects that focus on co-creation, inspiring a sense of sharing and involvement of each project by the community.Participating artists have been active within everything from mural painting, photography, dance, graphic design, street installations, music and food. The artists have come from all over the world, from Germany, Sweden, Iceland, Hawaii, USA and more.
